I went to Sydney for the day last week to get my Visa for America. As per last year...the interview only took 2 mins but getting through security took about 40mins but i met 2 nice guys from Sydney and got to have a good chat with them so it wasn't a complete waste of time... anyway when i flew in i bought a day trippers pass...after the interview i went to the Harbor Bridge to get on a ferry only to discover my ticket it had worked its way out of my back pocket...bugger! anywho i went to ask this dude what i could do instead -i didn't really want to buy another ticket...turns out..STEVE worked on a ferry that goes all the way down Paramatta river. He said i could jump on and they'd drop me back at darling harbor once they were done...how lucky am I!!what a champ. The trip down the river took about 2 hours and i got to hang out with Matt- the driver and daz the other worker on the boat!was great!very nice fellas! If you plan on going to Sydney with a big group give us a yell I'll give ya the boys card- they organise group bookings. Had the nicest salad for lunch in Darling Harbor!!great view.very few English speakers there i felt like i was overseas again! Did a bit of shopping -Didn't really get much=( and then headed back to the airport for starbucks!!here's some photos for ya
