I experienced my first falling snow on the 3rd day it was awesome

amsterdam

got into amsterdam on the 23rd of december just for 1 day got to walk down the streets see anne franks house the red light district and a traveller on a bike get hit byt a silly taxi drivzer he was fine so dont worry. mind you i nearly got hit a few times by people on bikes so its not at all hard to do.
the red light district was pretty nasty. we just did a walk down the main street. Had to get the train to germany at 5 so we didnt have very long. The Canals are beutiful there and i got some nice pics i can put on here later hopefully. My fav. bit was maybe anna franks house. I read her diary when i was little and it was an experience to be in the rooms zhere she was in hiding for so long

what happened in 2005

With the wrap up of another year its time to have a look at what i have actually done! It always seems to fly when you look back on it. This year more then others i think. So many new things I've seen! The highlights would have to include; University Graduation!! definitely a highlight. Although you dress up with a silly hat on and walk across the stage (with your sister yelling out your name) for 30 seconds it was very exciting! After 3 years of health science I now have a BA. Sc on the end of my name!!! The youngest of the Stumer kids to graduate- yes thats right Zac! Another memorable occasion(s) -the 21st celebrations I was in Australia for! Made some very funny memeories! I even had my own 21st festival!thanks heaps for helping me celebrate...some of you for 2 weeks!felt very special so thank-you again. 3 days after my birthday i headed to America for camp!I never really believed people when they told me camp is such an awesome experience and will be the best summer of your life! But they are telling the truth!!and from camp; that's where all this travel began. In 2005 i will have been to: Nerang, NZ, America, Canada, N. Ireland, Scotland, England, Netherlands, Germany (hoping for a white christmas) and France!! Wowee! thats not bad hey! so for now i will leave ya with a smile~~until I'm looking at ya!!! take care and have a safe Party season xxo

Spinnaker Tower

Just got back from an afternoon with the 'family'. Ben and Helen with kids Dan and I went out for lunch at Gunwharf. It's a shopping complex very much like harbor town with outlet shops and cafes but its on the harbor and it is the home to the imfamous Spinnaker Tower. The Spinnaker Tower is the tallest public viewing tower in the UK!35 million pounds and 5 years later from the original plan...this 'Millennium tower' come 'spinnaker tower' is now open and operational! It has 3 floors (170 m from the sea) and as you can see in the photo has a glass viewing floor (100m above sea level)you need to take your shoes off for, and yes being from nerang i felt comfortable with that option!
I bought a french connection jacket with the assistance of Helen for 30 pounds today so i am very excited and set for Germany!Bring on the snow i say!
1 more full day and then i say bye to portsmouth for the time being!!Not long at all till amsterdam (which for me = kizzie!)ROCKIN ROLL!!
xox have fun with this one

I left early (well 8 am) on saturday morning with 2 hours sleep!I travelled on a mega bus (its a cheaper chain of buses that travel to london for 1 pound if u book really early) i fell asleep across 4 seats and when i woke up there were people around me everywhere...ooops i felt bad and a little scared at the same time- i don't like it when people watch me sleep.
On saturday night Jess and I went and saw Narnia!was really good i loved it!
Sunday we went to the National History museum and for a bit of a strol about harrods it was freezing!!!
