Glasgow city itself

Downtown Glasgow. Good for shopping around here. Could up a kilt for a bargain! Had a really nice day walking about. Didn't get lost so that's a bonus. This amazing building is Claires Uni- glasgow uni- its so old and so beautiful lit up at night time!

welcome to scotland!

Claire, the lovely girl i am staying with and her twin sister Laura. It's funny. all 3 of us did summer camps within an hour or so of eachother and they were all very different, often talking about it....yes still! These other guys are the crew that seem to spend all their time here!

Ireland- Giants Causeway

My favorite day in Ireland!Giants Causeway is so beautiful. Nice drive up to the North Coast, spent a good part of a great afternoon there. Mainly me taking way to many photos.couldn't help it!Matt and i climbed a little hill thing. So pretty!!The coast line is...amazing to say the least. The rocks by the water are in a hexagon shape! oh!!!you HAVE to go!!we ended the afternoon in an Irish pub (one for slim) =)

the plain building is the chapel. The longest and oldest standing builing in the castle. there was a wedding on while we were there..bagpipes as well =)

Having a few problems with some irish photos so ill put them up...later.
Today was the castle!!!AMAZING!Claire and I took the bus to Edinburgh about an hour from here. We ended up getting a tour bus up to the castle and then all around the city!spent a good few hours in the castle itself!went a little crazy with the photos but have plenty of good ones to show ya!

Ireland- Catch ups

While in Ireland i got the chance to spend time with some friends from camp!it was SO nice to see the girls (and boys) again!Rachel, Heather, me and Cassie!Heather, Dave and Matt at the Ulster Rugby match the day i got in

The girls i stayed with here in Canada (minus musican Ange) - Lisa and Bex, Jen and I. Canada has been lots of fun. It's been so nice to stay with a friend from home. Niagara falls was definitely a highlight!!I was a lil excited this morning!i actually got out of bed and made french toast!we had maple syrup from where is Ange is from- SO TASTY
So Tonight I fly out of Toronto and 7.5 hours later land in London. Spend a few hours in the airport then catch another plane to Dublin- Ireland. When i get to Ireland I catch a train to Belfast and meet some guys from camp!!!EXCITING!

Niagara at dusk

The Horseshoe falls at Sunset!!it's so beautiful!SO pretty its nice just sitting and watching and listening!

Niagara Falls

So we went on a road trip on Sunday after a massive breakfast!picked up William from the train station and headed down to the falls!it was a very cold day but got loads of great photos!this first photos is me and William in Canada. That land behind us is America! Was weird to have two countries so close but still divided by water. Last time i left Canada it was on the bus so it didn't seem as odd for some reason!

The horse shoe falls are amazing!so pretty. You get a little wet when you get to close.

Ice Wine

Now this is a cool idea! In the Winter when the crop is frozen still they harvest the grapes and get the juice out of them before they 'defrost'. It's a really sweet wine. It's very tasty. We got some grapes..yummo...and had a taste. Its crazy expensive because they don't get much juice from one grape..hence less to sell= more expensive! This was a little winery in niagara on the lake.Really cute place. Kinda like tambo..but cuter. And yes it was cold!!

5 Pin bowls

Now it's almost Lisa's birthday and we went bowling for her birthday last saturday night! Now for those of you who have ever gone bowling with me before know i need a little coaching- well 5pin is not as easy as those 9 year olds make it look!! In the photos is us 3 aussies- Brad, Lisa and I. Brad is from Brisbane. The other crazy couple is Nathan and Jen. They're fun. I did a fitness class with Jen today and my arms nearly fell off!she's fun

The change in fall

This must be the prettiest time of year for colors.
its gorgeous! And all the squirrels are still running around like crazy! They ALWAYS make me laugh and I'm not even close to being sick of them. I wanna catch one and call it scooter...

Some things in waterloo

The old mill is just down the road from Lisa's house. There is a massive park attached and a cricket feild-how random!!

and this is Lisa's Place!!cute hey

some changing leaves and a rail crossing bridge...trains dont come often and they move so slow..like walking pace!So there was no chance of me getting run over

HALOWEEN PUMKINS

and yes this was mine and that was Lisa's. Its ok that your first pumkin is ugly the idea is that it is scary!so I guess I win!!you would think I could control a knife after cutting out stencils of my own but not much luck!!it was fun tho. I miss haloween by a few days but this was a good afternoon!

so here we have the pumkins. At home its a running joke (well in boonah-yes boonah!- at least) that to grow these pumkins you need to marry into the right family (hey sequoya hehe)Lisa and I went shopping and took a trolley back to her place coz these babies were to heavy to carry!

so i made it back....

so I have made it back to Waterloo with Lisa for another week of Canada. My trip back was long but painless. I didn't meet anyone this trip tho!my first time on public transport where I havn't met anyone new!!how sad!Plenty of time to make up for it!
Some stencil art I saw downtown...little alley was full of art!the famous (apparently) arm in detroit, and the fog in Torronto!crazy! the clear day was on the way to michigan..nice warm and sunny!!!not so much on the way home

sights of Ann Arbor

The law library!beautiful inside and out!!I can't imagine studying there.its too pretty!I'd get distracted!

ann arbor catch ups

So I found a cat!!hehe. Kyle...so cute loved cuddles. I got to catch up with James, our friend who came to Australia on exchange and now lives in ann arbor as well. It was one of those fun moments of seeing someone you weren't sure you'd see again!!(we will again=))On my last night in town James made Ellie and I dinner~!it was awesome.

So here is the lovely ladies I stayed in ann arbor with! All great girls!Lois had the best apples at her house!oh my goodness. They're really sweet.YUM. Thanks again to ellie for my vegemite fix!
